Societies & Clubs

National Service Scheme (NSS)

The NSS (National Service Scheme) unit of the college promotes social service, community involvement and holistic development of the students. . Students are encouraged to participate in various activities like blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, public welfare and rural development programmes to instill a sense of social responsibility in them.

National Cadet Corps (NCC)

The NCC Unit of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur College, Sathiala was established in the academic session 2021–22 under the 24 Punjab Battalion NCC, Amritsar. Since its inception, the unit has actively engaged in various initiatives aimed at nation-building and youth development.

Medical facilities are available to students during college hours. The college has a Medical Room with basic amenities for providing basic first aid to students and can cater to the medical needs of the students for casual and minor ailments.

Discipline and Grievance Cell

Promoting discipline and resolving grievances

Discipline and Grievance Redressal Cell. to provide a mechanism for redressal of students' grievances and ensure the transparency in admission, and prevention of unfair practices, etc. The function of the cell is to look into the complaints lodged by any student, and judge its merit. The Grievance cell is also empowered to look into matters of harassment. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the department members in person, or in consultation with the officer in-charge Grievance Redressal Cell. In case the person is unwilling to appear in person, grievances may be dropped in writing at the letterbox/ suggestion box of the Grievance Cell at Administrative Block. Grievances may also be sent through e-mail as well. The institution aims at solving the grievances of the students within stipulated time.
