National Service Scheme (NSS)
Serving the community since 2014
The NSS (National Service Scheme) unit of the college promotes social service, community involvement and holistic development of the students. Students are encouraged to participate in various activities like blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, public welfare and rural development programmes to instill a sense of social responsibility in them.

National Cadet Corps (NCC)
Building character, discipline, and leadership
The NCC Unit of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur College, Sathiala was established in the academic session 2021–22 under the 24 Punjab Battalion NCC, Amritsar. Since its inception, the unit has actively engaged in various initiatives aimed at nation-building and youth development. In the 2024–25 session, the unit organized several events including an educational tour, blood donation camp, non-plastic rally, drug de-addiction rally, Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, G-20 and Y-20 run-up events, and a tree plantation drive, along with various competitions. Cadets brought laurels to the college by winning the overall trophy at CATC and attending the Army Attachment Camp. They also had the opportunity to meet Lt. General Gurvirpal Singh. The NCC Department remains committed to fulfilling its objectives in line with the guidelines of Guru Nanak Dev University and the central and state governments, focusing on discipline, social responsibility, and empowering youth for a confident and successful future.

Training and Placement Cell
Facilitating On-Campus Placements
The training and placement cell of a college plays a pivotal role in shaping the career paths of students. The primary objective of the cell is to enhance students' employability by providing them with the necessary training, guidance, and placement opportunities. The placement aspect of the cell involves establishing and maintaining strong ties with companies and organizations. It actively collaborates with recruiters to facilitate campus recruitment drives, internships, and job placements. The cell keeps students informed about available opportunities, assists them in preparing their resumes and job applications, and provides guidance throughout the selection process. Overall, the training and placement cell acts as a catalyst in shaping students' careers, equipping them with the necessary skills and providing them with valuable opportunities for professional growth.
Eco Club
Promoting environmental awareness since 2023
The Eco Club in the college generates awareness on ecology and promotion of environmental care at a community level. The club engages the students and faculty members to work towards the creation of a pervasive atmosphere facilitating dialogue, action and feedback on environmental issues. The Eco Club organizes interactive sessions, essay writing competitions, lectures by specialized resource persons for the benefit of the students. The Club is regularly involved in the development of plantation and gardens within the college campus to create awareness about beautification, environment and ecology.

Promoting Literature
Bhasha Manch, also known as the Languages Club, at Shri Guru Teg Bahadur College, Sathiala, serves as a dynamic platform for celebrating linguistic diversity and nurturing a deep respect for languages. The club actively promotes the richness of Punjabi, Hindi, English, Urdu, and Sanskrit through a variety of engaging activities and initiatives focused on preserving and honoring the cultural and literary heritage of these languages.

Centre of Religious Studies
Promoting Religious Studies
It promotes religious studies by promoting examinations conducted by organizations like the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) in Punjab, India. These exams, often held annually, assess students' knowledge of Sikhism and related religious topics. The SGPC also provides scholarships and prizes to high-achieving students.
